I didn't drink. I hated the taste of alcohol and I wasn't the type of person who got drunk to have an excuse to lose control. I liked having control. Control was fan-fucking-tastic. That was probably why I was on the verge of ordering a shot of every drink in the bar, because if I were drunk then I would have an excuse for the hallucinations. Yeah, in this one case, hard liquor would give me some control back, because otherwise I would have to admit I was crazy. After all, it wasn't exactly sane to see demons, to hear them whispering in my ear, or to have one fuck me. I shivered at the thought.
